美食美酒类电视节目是电视观众喜闻乐见的一种节目形式。据统计，目前世界上大约有2000家制作美食美酒类节目的电视台和节目制作公司，每年共生产约10万分钟的节目。几乎每个电视台都有自办的美食电视节目，而美食类节目也是各个电视台不可或缺的节目形式之一。
为了更好促进美食美酒类电视节目的互相交流，提高美食节目的制作水平，为美食美酒类电视节目提供版权交易的平台，“世界饮食类图书大奖赛”（Gourmand World Cookbook Awards）联合“中华美食频道”举办世界首个专门的美食美酒电视节目交流会。
2010年世界美食美酒电视节目交流会将于2010年11月8日至14日在中国青岛举行. 现诚邀贵单位莅临指导！同时邀请欢迎各单位选送美食美酒类电视节目参加展播！
Food and wine TV programmes are a very popular TV program genre. Currently there are 2000 TV stations and companies that produce approximately 100,000 minutes food and wine programmes. Almost every TV station has its own food program.
In order to improve the communication of food and wine programmes, share experience of producing programmes, and provide a platform of exchanging food programmes, Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and China Food TV will hold the first World Food & Wine TV Festival. 2010 World Food & Wine TV Festival will be held in Qingdao.
